Friday lunch preparations

   

(programs offered on a weekly basis and included in both your regular fees and  activities.)

Life Skills Computer/Writing Skills Health & Fitness World Events
Simply meal preparation, shopping, numbers, coins and time  recognition etc. Fundraising through product design, marketing and selling. Prepare monthly newsletter, Internet  safety, basic computer use and preparing presentations, etc.  Fitness classes at least 3 times a week, Yoga, weight training, nutrition and basic personal grooming skills and walking in the community. Daily events, what's in the news, different cultures how do we fit in the world around us etc.

BODY: Recreational

In addition to daily scheduled programs, we will be offering Special instructional classes.  Just think of Tania's Place as a "mini" Recreation Centre where your options are limitless.

Special instructional classes will be taught by professional instructors and offered above and beyond regular programs at the Activity Center. Classes will run for 8 to 10 week sessions where a minimal fee is charge.  

Here are few examples of what we will be offering.  These programs were identified in a survey  filled out by over 100 parents. This is just another way we are committed to working with our clients and their families by offering services and programs they ask for.

2011 SUMMER CAMP 

 

for teens & Adults 13 yrs of age and older

July 4/11 - September 2/11

 

Our Summer Camp is one of our most popular programs and we focus strictly on recreational activities that will be designed to reflect the theme weeks. 

Summer Camp operates Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  

Information will be available March 2011

Both locations: Ajax and Oshawa

  NOTE: Space is limited for High Needs participants. It's highly recommended to register your son/daughter as soon as possible prior to the registration deadline to avoid disappointment.  All our programs are first come first served regardless if you are a regular participant in our programs.

March Break Madness

March 14 - 18, 2011

                Note: This service is a first come first served for *Registered Families only.  To register your son/daughter for our general programs please call 905 686-9532.

               So to avoid disappointment get your son or daughters name on our March Break list before Jan 30, 2011.  Registration forms will be available to registered families through email by mid 

January 2011.  

                    *Registered family means that your son/daughter/sibling has had an assessment and has filled out our main registration forms.   If your son/daughter/sibling has not had an assessment they are not eligible for any of our programs excluding our Dances.
